DAAD - A New Passage to India

Germany and India have successfully intensified their Socio- cultural and scientific relations in recent years through active state action. The BMBF-funded program "A New Passage to India" has a significant share in this, which since 2009 promotes and strengthens the German-Indian exchange with great success. As part of the technical cooperation and exchange measures, the mutual interest is enhanced through country-related knowledge and intercultural competences.

Symbiosis Law School, Pune became a recipient of DAAD- Passage to india Programme in partnership with Leibniz University, Hannover for a period of five years from 2009 to 2014. The programme had five 15 in-coming students from LUH to SLSP and 18 out-going students from SLSP to LUH. There has been exchange of 5 faculty members from both the institutions under the DAAD Passage to India.

Symbiosis Law School, Pune also became a recipient of DAAD- Passage to india Programme in partnership with Brunswick European Law School (BSEL), Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences for a period of five years from 2013 to 2016. The programme had 19 in-coming students from BSEL to SLSP and 20 out-going students from SLSP to BSEL. There has been exchange of 4 faculty members from both the institutions under the DAAD Passage to India.This has resulted in strengthening the ties with both the German universities and providing a plethora of opportunities to both students and faculty
